I'm told there's not much action in the fast ferry business at the moment, which must leave a bunch of smart people underemployed. So here's a little challenge for those engineers - design me a boat that: 1.Has an unrefuelled range in excess of 29,000 nautical miles. 2.Has endurance exceeding 45 days. 3.Is capable of operation in the deep latitudes of the Southern Ocean.
