Tuong Aik delivers 'Helang Angkasa' to local company

Malaysian shipbuilder tuong aik shipyard has recently delivered the 'Helang Angkasa', a harbour tug for local owner Bunga Tenaga. Measuring 32 metres in length overall, the vessel has a beam of 10 metres, a draught of 4.3 metres and a displacement of 725 tonnes fully loaded. Powered by twin Niigata 6L26HLX engines, each rated for l,491kW, the vessel drives twin Niigata ZP-31 Z-peller controllable-pitch propellers to an operating speed of 12 knots (lightship) and a bollard pull of 45 tonnes.
