Tebma Shipyards delivers 'Kushal'

Indian shipbuilder Tebma Shipyards has recently delivered the twin screw ASD tug 'Kushal' to the Indian Navy. Constructed of steel, the 32.5 metre x 9.5 metre x 2.8 metre tug displaces 366 tonnes and is powered by two Caterpillar 3512C engines, each rated for l,194kW. Alongside Cummins 6 CTA 8.3 auxiliary engines, this power train drives two Voith Schneider 21 propellers for a design speed of 12 knots and a bollard pull of 25 tonnes.
