'SAAM Citlali'

Hong Kong-based designer and shipbuilder Bonny Fair Developments has recently delivered the 'SAAM Citlali', a versatile ASD harbour tug to Chilean-based multinational port and logistics operator SAAM. SAAM is Chile's largest port operator and the fourth largest vessel operator in the world. Founded as the privately-held Sudamericana Agencias Aereas y Maritimas in the Port of Valparaiso in 1961, the company expanded quickly, providing integrated services for bulk imports in the mid-1970s, moving into aircraft servicing and loading/unloading at Santiago International Airport by 1980, and expanding into other Central and South American nations in the 1990s.
