DNV highlights plastic problem

摘要

As someone with a lengthy record of encouraging the prevention of marine pollution, particularly the overwhelming part of that pollution that is land sourced, I was delighted to learn recently of a joint initiative of the classification society DNV and the WWF, the NGO, which addresses "the seemingly intractable problems associated with cleaning up the plastic debris that is accumulating in the world's ocean gyres".
