The Interactive Advertising Bureau last week reported that interactive-ad revenue reached $42.8 billion in 2013. Not that it's a competition, but the group also pointed out that the all-time high was $2.1 billion more than what broadcast TV took in last year. (Of course, sticking to broadcast comparisons means close to half of total TV-ad revenue-and networks like ESPN, A&E, Fox News and many others-are excluded.)
