Blue Origin and Dynetics are protesting NASA's $2.9 billion award to rival SpaceX for a human lunar landing system demonstration mission with the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), a development that could delay the planned 2024 arrival of U.S. astronauts on the Moon.In a 50-page filing, portions of which were redacted, Blue Origin says that during the proposal preparation and submission process, NASA had planned to fund two proposals under a firm, fixed-price Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) solicitation.
