摘要

An ability for the U.S. Air Force to distribute air battle planning and monitoring so as to be more survivable is being tested by BAE Systems under a DARPA program. The capability allows planners in different locations to share a picture of the battle and assess its progress even when communications are disrupted. Under the Resilient Synchronized Planning and Assessment for the Contested Environment (Rspace) pro-gram, BAE is developing software decision aids for the air operations center (AOC) to help staff assess an air battle plan, monitor progress in real time and continuously project the anticipated outcome as it unfolds. Now in the program's year-long final phase, which began in October 2018, BAE is installing the software at an Air Force facility for a final demonstration and planned transition to the service.
