She values her prior experience as the nonexplosive and actuators lead for integration and test, the long days in a bunny suit and the shoulder-to-shoulder interaction with people touching the equipment. That experience helps as she and her team develop tests and procedures. She is also responsible for improving test efficiency and quality and leans on what she learned while serving as program manager for Northrop Grumman's Quadcopter competition, in which teams designed and produced UAVs that played a Quidditch-like game-earning patents and gaining problem-solving skills along the way.
