RESILIENCE was the key word forthe CEOs of the operatinglessors, as they recountedhow their companies have beenimpacted by the Covid‐19 shock,through airline bankruptcies, leasedefaults and deferrals and sharpfalls in asset values. One might haveexpected these tribulations to havedepressed the lessors’ market values,but investors appear to have regainedfull confidence in the aircraftoperating business.
