Profiling in tandem with technology

Profiling can play a valuable role in any passenger security system and it is particularly useful in the airport environment,rnspecifically because airports are where the latest screening and detection technologies are available. Computer Tomography X-Ray, Explosive Trace Detectors, Body Scanners, Millimetre Wave Imaging and other advanced screening solutions are very useful tools; however, unless they are used intelligently, their end-value is dramatically reduced.
