ARINC's VeriPax Development Supports Airside Access Control Gates and NFC Boarding Technology

ARINC's VeriPax™ security screening product, which has completed a year in use with launch customer, Cathay Pacific, in Singapore's Changi airport, has been further developed to support both integrated airside access control gates and also NFC (Near Field Communications) boarding technology. In partnership with access control gate provider, KABA, VeriPax has been integrated with a KABA airside access control gate to allow passengers to safely, speedily and securely pass from the landside to airside areas of the airport. In addition to the usual checks of validating the boarding pass for duplicate document checks and ensuring the passenger is in the right terminal at the right time for the right flight, VeriPax will also perform checks against the airlines' Departure Control System to verify all other aspects of the passenger's record are correct before allowing the passenger airside access.
