When evaluating which chart or chart system to use, the levels of detail, symbology, use of color and overall "look and feel" of the charts should be one of the criteria. Some of these variables are entirely subjective. Others, especially detail levels, aren't.rnAt right, we've reproduced excerpts of the FAA/ AeroNav (left column) and Jeppesen products. (Due to production issues, these reproductions may not be precisely to scale.) Whether the two chart publishers differ in their approach isn't really open for debate; there are differences.
