Spitfire Progress at Biggin Hill

The Spitfire Company (Biggin Hill) Ltd, based in the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar, will be operating Spitfire Ⅸ MK912 (G-BRRA), Hawker Sea Hurricane P3886 (G-TWTD), North American Harvard FE788 (G-CTKL) and Piper L-4H Cub (G-BMKC) alongside Spitfire Ⅸ TA805 (G-PMNF) 'Spirit of Kent' at displays this season. Restoration work continues on Spitfire XVI RW382 (G-PBIX), which should be flying by the summer, while Spitfire Ⅸs TD314 (G-CGYJ) and LZ842 (G-CGZU) are also progressing well. The company plans to take on a number of apprentices, ensuring that restoration skills are not lost to future generations.
