Final RAF VC10 K4 Retired

Making its final flight on March 21 was BAC VC10 K4 ZD241 'N', the last remaining example of this variant in RAF service. It was flown from its base at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, to Bruntingthorpe Airfield, Leicestershire, where it will now be dismantled and scrapped. Only five K4 variants were delivered to the air force, all converted from former British Airways aircraft that had been purchased by the RAF. The other four K4s have already been scrapped.
