New Gatwick Base for Norwegian

Norwegian Air Shuttle has established a new base at London's Gatwick Airport. The airline already had a significant presence at the airport with more than 100 flights a week from 11 points in Scandinavia. The move came into effect on March 31, sees 14 new destinations served from Gatwick to the Spanish mainland, Canary Islands, South of France, Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia, and Faro in Portugal, with a further Scandinavian destination, Troms0 in Norway added. Three Boeing 737-800s will initially be resident, followed by a fourth in August.
