Composite panel for thermal and acoustic insulation - has base of norway spruce with layer of porous stone

The panels consist of a base of chipboard made from Norway spruce and bound with a cement and a chemical substance. The second part of the panel consists of volcanic stone in the form of granules and closed cells bound together with a cement and with an acrylic resin. The resin is also used to glue the chipboard to the stone layer. The thickness of the separate layers can be adjusted to suit the insulation requirements. The panels can be sawn, nailed or screwed. They can also be coated with plaster for use in buildings. The material is resistance to high temperatures and when burnt does not produce harmful or explosive gases.
