HKP4 Fates

Sweden retired its Boeing/Kawasaki Vertol 107 (HKP4) helicopters in 2010, and until recently the 14 surviving machines were in storage at Malmen Air Base and with F17 Wing at Ronneby. Now three have been placed with museums and the rest sold to Columbia Helicopters Inc. Personnel from the American company will work with Swedish technicians to dismantle the helicopters ready for shipping to the US.
