Germany Cuts NH90 and Tiger Orders

Planned cuts in procurement of the NH90 and Tiger attack helicopter for the German armed forces have been announced by Germany's Minister of Defence, Thomas de Maziere. On the same day, March 15, a memorandum of understanding was signed which cuts Germany's Tiger UHT orders from 80 to 57 units, while the NH90 TTH order is reduced from 122 to 82 helicopters.
