Bell Helicopter has delivered the first of two Bell 429s on order for the Slovak Policajny Zbor (police force). Registered OM-BYM (c 57202, ex N538AK), it was handed over during a ceremony at Bratislava Airport on August 17 The Bell 429s will be primarily used for border protection, search and rescue, natural disaster relief missions and road traffic law enforcement. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Robert Kaliiiak said during the ceremony: "This is one of the most modern aircraft on the market, and it fulfils the increasingly demanding mission requirements of our police force."
