Embraer's Legacy 450 mid-light executive jet has been awarded type certification by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency and the US Federal Aviation Administration. It is the first business aircraft in its segment with full fly-by-wire technology, featuring side-stick flight controls and a Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite with four 15.1 in (38cm) high-resolution LCD displays. Powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E turbofan engines, the jet has a range of 2,575nm (4,769km) with four passengers on board.
