Chinese CRJ200 Contract

Melbourne Essendon-based ExecuJet has won a heavy maintenance contract for the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force's (PLAAF's) fleet of Bombardier CRJ200s. ExecuJet had previously worked on the PLAAF's five CRJ700s. The first CRJ200 to be overhauled was B-4005, with the work planned to take around eight weeks. The second jet, B-4006, arrived on June 27 with the three remaining aircraft expected to follow next year.
