Boeing Starts MAX Production

Production of the first Boeing 737 MAX flight test aircraft has begun. The US manufacturer's machine operators loaded the first components - wing skin panels and stringers - into a new panel assembly line at Renton which automatically drills holes and installs fasteners in the upper and lower wing panels. The completed wings will be attached to the first MAX fuselage on a new central production line at Renton's Final Assembly Hall later this year.
