Airbus Helicopters Launches X6

Airbus Helicopters launched its replacement for the H225 Super Puma, the X6, at the Paris Air Show. Targeted initially at the civil market, Airbus Helicopters says it will also be suited to search and rescue, VIP and other specialist missions. Major marketing, architecture and design choices will be assessed during a two-year concept phase and once the programme has reached an adequate level of maturity, development will begin.
