A full restoration has been completed on the Pacific Aviation Museum's Republic F-100F Super Sabre 58-1232. It has been with the Hawaii-based attraction since 2013. Having operated with the 510th Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS), attached to the 405th Fighter Wing, the unit was reassigned to the 27th Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW) in the 1960s. The Sabre went on to fly with the 352nd TFS, 35th TFW, from Phan Rang in South Vietnam and during the Vietnam War was also flown by the Colorado Air National Guard's 120th TFS. In 1971, the aircraft returned to the US and was eventually transferred to the South Dakota Air National Guard's 175th TFS until the end of its career. After retirement, it was preserved at various locations, until being acquired for static display and repainted into its Vietnam War livery by the Pacific Aviation Museum.
