New Paint for Australian Catalina

The Qantas Founders Museum has repainted its Consolidated PBY-6A Catalina VH-EAX. The aircraft, which arrived at the Longreach, Queensland-based museum in 2011, has started to receive a Sky (blue-grey shade) and slate grey scheme it wore operating Qantas flights between Perth, Western Australia, and Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) during World War Two. Final markings have yet to be added.
