Heavy Maintenance Accord

Etihad Airways Engineering, a subsidiary of the Etihad Aviation Group, has been awarded its first heavy maintenance contract by Deutsche Lufthansa. The deal covers an unspecified number of the German flag carrier's long-haul aircraft, including Airbus A340-300S and A380-800s. The first A380 C Check is scheduled for the last quarter of 2017 and will include a full cabin rework as well as some major structural modifications.
