Pulling a Plane for Charity

A team of 20 employees from Christchurch-based AIM Altitude volunteered to take part in the ninth annual Dorset Plane Pull at Bournemouth Airport. Using their combined strength, they pulled a 77,162lb (35,000kg) Boeing 737 over a course of 165ft (50m) to raise money for the Wessex Cancer Trust. Included in the team were two members of staff from AIM Altitude's Chinese parent AVIC from Beijing as well as AIMsley Bear, the company's mascot.
