"Imagery expressed in words and photography dedicated to the Tiger in Swiss Air Force service" is the author's description of his book. The foreword written by the commander of the Swiss F-5E Fleet regrets that the type has never received the legendary following attached to the Swiss use of the Hunter and Mirage, even though it has been in service for nearly 40 years. This is longer than either of its contemporaries. He goes on to say: "It's the one airplane that blends great looks with a speedy design and relative ease of operation."
