Avro 504K replica G-EROE Olivia made its airshow debut at the Abingdon Air & Country Show in Oxfordshire on May 14. The original Avro 504 was designed by Alliott Verdon-Roe and this replica belongs to his grandson Eric Verdon-Roe. Constructed by Pur Sang Aero Historic in Argentina in 2010 (as LV-X430) it represents the examples that were licence-built in the country in the late 1920s. The replica has been constructed to original plans but has a modern Rotec R3600 nine-cylinder radial engine in place of the original's Gnome rotary.
