Raptor and Thunderbirds for RIAT

The main theme for this year's Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), which takes place at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire on July 14-16, will mark the 70th anniversary of the USAF. The American air arm has already confirmed it is sending its F-22 Raptor and the Thunderbirds display team to support the event. Other attendees announced so far include the Belgian Defence - Air Component (F-16AM Fighting Falcon and soon-to-be-retired Sea King for the flying display and an F-16 and C-130H Hercules for the static park), Spanish Air Force (flying EF-18AM Hornet), the Czech Air Force (JAS-39 Gripen and two L-159 ALCAs for the flying display and a further L-159 ALCA for the static) and the Swiss Air Force - the latter providing its Patrouille Suisse team flying Northrop F-5 Tiger lis.
