PC Hardware: Choosing the right components

While most readers will buy a ready-built system, those more familiar with PC internals might build their own using the components they prefer or those that better suit their budget. Unless you buy from a company which specialises in building bespoke PC systems, it's unlikely that you'll find an off-the-shelf PC that includes ideal components for flight simulation. If you choose a system that incorporates the CPU, GPU and RAM you need (or can afford), perhaps it would be prudent to make sure the system is upgradable.
