The restoration of North American F-100F Super Sabre, 56-3832, has been completed by staff at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon. Acquired by the attraction in 2003, the jet had been in long-term storage with the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. It had previously been considered for use as a QF-100 target drone but never flew as such. The aircraft has been painted in colours representative of an F-100 from the 612th Tactical Fighter Squadron while the unit was stationed at Phu Cat, Vietnam. www.evergreenmuseum.org
