In a sign of private aviation's main-streaming, the New York Times this year published three lifestyle articles on private aviation: a New York Times Magazine feature about VistaJets' onboard children's program; a January piece on the affordability of private jet travel; and an August article on family college tours by private jet offered by XOJet. (Magellan Jets has been selling a 10-hour college-tour jet card for several years, but the XOJet program brings college placement experts into the process).
