FORT SMITH, Arkansas (USA) - The Fort Smith Airport Commission approved Turn Key Construction’s bid to build a new $3.4 million airport firefighting station. The commission met at the Fort Smith Regional Airport on Tuesday for its June meeting. With the lowest of six qualified bids, Turn Key Construction of Fort Smith was approved to build the airport’s new fire station in the amount of $3,423,000 contingent upon receiving 90 percent grant funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.
