Russia’s Technodinamika Company hasdeveloped a rescue and emergency raft with asystem that automatically opens it and sets it up inworking position to save people in the event of anaircraft’s emergency water landing.The emergency and rescue raft accommodates up to17 people afloat for 14 days, protecting them againstbad weather and fluctuations in outside air temperatureranging from -30℃ to 65℃. The life-saving raftopens in no more than 10 seconds. The special fabricused to create the raft is highly frost resistant andprovides a high degree of protection from ozone,ultraviolet rays and contaminant fluids.
