This increase of “passengernfacility charges” (PFCs) comes despite the factnthat PFC collections have been at record levels thenpast two years and are expected to rise again inn2009. PFCs are a direct tax on passengers and it’sntime our airports break their addiction to them.nAirports must resist treating air travelers as thenequivalent of an ATM.
