On the shelf

Infocomm is doing much to raise standards in the a-v industry and its latest effort is the AV Design Reference Manual, produced in association with BICSI, formerly know as Building Industry Consulting Service International, but now billing itself as the association for the information transport systems industry. The question is: Should this manual be on every a-v systems integrator's bookshelf and is it relevant to UK and European practice ?
