On 23 June 2016 the UK electorate voted in a national referendum to leave the European Union - what we've christened Brexit (British exit). So, in the wake of us leaving the EU, just how are preparations going so we can sustain life outside the single market? The IMF reckons the long-term impact of Brexit would be modest, provided a deal is struck. For now, the focus is on minimising near-term disruption, but does the AV industry agree? "Brexit hasn't really caused us any huge headaches, yet at least. We've been working on a Brexit plan for some time. We've had to. It's a bit like Y2K. Every day another customer comes in and says, right give us your Brexit solution," says Daryl Clarke, senior vice-president, EMEA, Diversified.
