While automotive leaders cannot predict the UK's future relationship with Europe, they are clearly building up cash reserves to face the challenges ahead. A recent report from UHY Hacker Young, the national accountancy firm, shows the top 100 dealerships in the UK have reduced their debts by 22% over the past 12 months, to £9.7bn, down from £12.5bn in the previous year.
