Strange enough, even when you quit the fleet business, after 30 years, you occasionally wake up thinking about work. The other night, fuel prices and 401(k)s were on my mind, thus I was driven, at 3 a.m., to write another "letter to the editor." While studying economics in college, I was not aware that the "trickle-down" effect of Econ 101 was in fact Wall Street, Corporate America, and, last but not least, the government "urinating" down our leg.
