LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

I enjoyed the Letters to the Editor section of the March issue of AF. The "global" slant was infused via CEI CEO Wayne Smolda's letter entitled, "Misunderstandings about the European Fleet Market," which piqued my interest. I was fortunate to have been in the position as one of the so-called pioneers of the U.S.-based global initiative and my team succeeded in winning numerous multinational corporate fleet agreements and partnerships commencing in 1996. We traveled extensively between the U.S. and Europe "evangelizing" the merits of globalizing fleet management. And it worked and still does even more so today!
