I've been around longer than most in this business. I've decided that the main reason for my tenure is that I'm rewarded almost daily with learning something new about people and the market I have grown to love. Every day most of us learn via the phone, by e-mail, or reading about the industry. And that's good; as it should be. However, it's been my experience that nose-to-nose networking is where you learn the prime stuff.
