Volvo believes it could build a new business model for electric cars. It is exploring ways of supplying the electricity stored on board back to the grid.rnIt is seeking electricity companies willing to subsidise the cost of the vehicles in order to be able to tap into the cars at peak times.rnIchiro Sugioka, project manager for the Volvo ReCharge concept, said: "A plug-in could send electricity back into the power grid when it's needed. The benefits could be worth $2000-3000 per year for owners."
