Renault is doubling Russian capacity for its Logan sedan to 160,000 units a year. The OEM is investing $150 million in its Moscow plant as part of its expansion plans in the emerging market.rnDemand in Russia is still increasing and foreign manufacturers account for 75 per cent of the country's annual sales. Volumes are expected to increase this year from 2.7 million to 3.2 million vehicles. Next year the figure could reach 4 million units.rnThe Logan was first launched in Russia in 2005 and is built by Renault's subsidiary Avtoframos. In its first year it sold more than 11,000 units, increasing to more than 72,000 last year.
