Bosch claims first with FlexRay brake system

Bosch has introduced what it claims is the world's first brake system controller with a FlexRay interface. The controller manages ESC functions and is networked to the adaptive cruise control (ACC) and restraint systems. The controller is used in the BMW 7 Series sedan.rnLuxury vehicles' electronic architectures are beginning to exceed the capabilities of high-speed CANbus networks. FlexRay's higher data transfer rates can make chassis and safety systems more effective and more robust.
