The coolest concept cars are usually the ones least likely to see production. LJ You just know that Renault's 2008 Ondelios Paris show car has no chance of evolving into the next Espace. Nor will the crazy interior from Citroen's Revoke, seen at the 2009 IAA show, influence the next DS3. Right at the back of Hall 11 in Frankfurt that year was BMW's Vision EfficientDynamics concept. The startling 2+2 packed a three-cylinder diesel and a pair of electric motors under a carbon-fibre shell with a drag co-efficient of only 0.22. Its other headline figures were a top speed limited to 250km/h and CO2 emissions of 99g/km on the combined cycle.
