Fiat brings back the 124 Spicier

Fiat is bringing back the 124 Spider nameplate with its latest two-seater sports car. The vehicle is based on the same underpinnings as the Mazda MX-5 - which should make it more cost-effective to develop. The 124 Spider is powered by a turbocharged, 1.4-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine. Engine output is 103kW/240Nm, with total displacement at l,368cc and bore and stroke 72mm and 84mm, respectively. The compression ratio is 9.8:1 and the engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
