Iveco concept van goes green

Iveco is offering an insight into the future of light commercial vehicle design with its Vision concept vehicle. Iveco Vision is being used for the development of new technological solutions and future modes of transport, representing the natural evolution of Iveco's Daily light commercial vehicle range. The concept vehicle features a dual-energy system which has been developed to further minimise environmental impact. The dual-energy system self-adapts to the most suitable traction mode. One is electric, ensuring zero emissions and low noise levels for inner city areas, and the other is hybrid (thermoelectric) and suitable for longer journeys, reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by up to 25% compared with diesel-only equivalents.
