BorgWarner keeps the SEAT Leon Cupra on track

BorgWarner is helping the high-performance, compact SEAT Leon Cupra to maintain traction on the road. The supplier provides its electronic limited slip differential (eLSD) to the front-wheel drive Cupra to help improve vehicle handling, traction and stability so drivers can make the most of the vehicle's 206kW7350Nm output from its 2-litre turbocharged gasoline engine. BorgWarner's general manager of torque transfer systems, Dr Stefan Demmerle, said: "Our front cross differential provides high-performance vehicles with a fun-to-drive experience by delivering the right amount of torque when and where it is needed. We supply our advanced technology to offer drivers maximised traction, stability and handling."
